Hello, your Windows 10 experience has some issues. After upgrading from Windows 7, you’ve retained all your data, but the system tends to shut down after about ten minutes, even though you’ve adjusted energy-saving settings. This happens with your Lenovo W series laptop connected via docking station. It’s not a Lenovo-specific problem and isn’t related to sleep features, as those are built into Windows. I’m not aware of any software that forces the computer to sleep automatically. Could you check if recent updates or background processes might be causing this?

Give it a shot, perhaps? If you don’t want the laptop to shut down, tap the battery icon in the taskbar, then the power and sleep options will appear. Adjust them to suit your preferences.

It affects your sleep if you stay logged in without unlocking the screen.

Once I cease performing actions (such as moving the mouse or typing), it will enter a sleep state after 10 minutes, regardless of circumstances.
