Hello, it's been two days since Windows Update failed to find any updates. The message reads: "There were some problems installing updates, but we’ll try again later." If you continue seeing this and wish to look up information online or reach out to support, this reference might be useful: (0x800704cf). Any fixes?

It looks like the problem is temporary after searching for the error code. Try using the Windows Update Troubleshooter. In settings/control panel, go to updates and security > troubleshoot > windows updates.

It could have been a network issue, which caused the error when I used slower internet. Since I now have a faster 50/50 Mbps connection, the problem is resolved. I recommend trying again—consider leaving it on overnight and enabling auto-signin after updates.

It appears a quicker internet link helps. Checked my phone data connection and it worked.
