Ebay attempts to eliminate fraudsters from their platform, while Valve and CDPR both confirmed that Steam keys for their items are only available on Steam. Kinguin is also working to promote the sale of CS-GO CD keys.

The term "legal" isn't fitting here. Sellers aren't adhering to the terms of service for those licenses. ASUS is recognized as an OEM partner. They don't distribute keys directly; they sell complete systems. This means they comply with OEM key policies. It's accurate, but those keys aren't meant for resale in their standard form. They're intended only for use with new installations. That's why partners receive them in bulk packs and at reduced MSRP.

Purchased a Windows 7 key and used it successfully. For more details, I installed Windows 10 using the ISO file available for free from Microsoft. After setting up Windows 10 on the desktop, I accessed the activate window, entered the CD-KEY, and everything worked without needing to add it during installation. You can obtain OEM keys from any reseller since they are considered custom builds for that seller. These keys are linked to the motherboard. As long as you don’t receive spam, using them is fine for a few dollars—usually around ten. I usually pay ten. It helps them because it boosts their numbers and lets them save more when buying in bulk. Microsoft approves this approach. If you prefer non-OEM keys, pay the full price. That’s what I do for my main system and switch to OEM for others. Mostly because I rarely upgrade other hardware or reinstall the OS there, which often happens on my primary rig. I manage dozens of keys without any problems, even after a major upgrade cycle. Some new additions followed by a gradual replacement of older components. You all know the story.
