i've faced issues with windows 10 beeping while the mouse slows down. after searching online, i couldn't locate a clear explanation or solution. recently, this has occurred on my 7950x during startup and shutdown. any suggestions on what might be causing it or how to resolve it?

It seems the mouse is toggling on and off. Have you considered using another one?

Consider another port occasionally; sometimes they fail as well.

The noise isn't typical for windows when hardware connects or disconnects. It occurred across three different PCs using the same mouse brand and model. Would you still suspect the mouse was disconnected?

I can help you capture it, maybe using your phone, and then send the file along.

It seems the issue might stem from the identical brand or model being involved.

I believe the beeps are coming through headphones instead of the tower, that’s likely. You should check the volume mixer to identify the exact source and see if there’s a spike in one channel. In the sounds menu, you can adjust the dialogue settings to disable all sounds. The beep appears to be a series of notes rather than a single tone.

It's hard to foresee when this might occur, and it mostly happens during startup or shutdown, making it impossible to access anything then. The noise comes through the monitor speakers. The person in the YouTube video is experiencing the same beeping sound, while mine typically involves multiple beeps in a group.

Are you looking for help with accessibility features? You can check the control panel and the Settings app under Accessibility. Also, review the sound settings in the sound scheme.
