You need to transfer your Windows 10 installation media to your Windows 7 disk. Since your internet connection is slow, consider using offline methods like downloading the ISO file directly or using a USB drive with the installation files. This way, you won’t rely on a fast connection and can avoid re-installing programs. Let me know if you need more details! Thanks Overloss123

Only save music files and similar items. You need to reinstall programs and drivers when changing operating systems. Back up everything you want, format the drive, reload Windows 7, then install the required drivers and software. After activation, go to your backup folder, install new documents in the updated Windows 7 version and start using it.

You can upgrade directly from Windows 10 to Windows 10 without installing Windows 7. Just follow the built-in upgrade process on your current machine. If you need a fresh copy, you can create a bootable USB with Windows 10 and transfer it to your thumb drive for installation.

Ensure you have Windows 10 installed already, then save your crucial data and perform a fresh installation.

Yes, I'm at step 3 and just removing the PCIe network card to start using the USB stick.

You're checking the guidance against your current approach—good practice. Just make sure it aligns with your goals and doesn't overlook any key points.
