Hello, your PC setup sounds tricky. The BIOS recognizes the SSD, but Windows isn’t finding it during installation. You have a B550 motherboard with two M.2 slots, and the drive works in BIOS but not in Windows. The other M.2 SSD is detected, which is good. Since you’re unsure about the issue, consider sending it for repair or replacement.

No alterations occur when swapping the M.2 slots for each drive.

I changed the slot positions and it didn’t show up in Windows 10 setup, though it appeared in the BIOS.

Consider using a CMOS clear or resetting the BIOS settings back to the default configuration during troubleshooting.

The bios remains set to default, no adjustments were made. I aimed for a stable Windows installation.

Sure, I can adjust the M.2 slot speed to auto and keep it that way. Let me give it another shot.

I recall a bit about how to structure data for GPT input.

Turn off fastboot and secure boot. Also verify if RAID 0 or RAID 1 is active.

Sorry for the delayed response; I was experiencing a headache and just let it pass for a while. It seems there’s no way to use Fastboot or Secure Boot in BIOS.
