I've been using my mom's laptop for a few days and found some issues. I tried reinstalling the audio drivers by uninstalling them, but the PC needed to restart first. Now it won't access Windows—it’s stuck in automatic repair mode and keeps doing the same thing. I don’t want to reinstall Windows if possible. What should I do?

I question this situation, but after it occurred to me it moved to another screen with just two choices—send for assistance or restart—and then the hard drive failed.

With Windows installation media, you can start from that source and perform an install similar to a clean setup, but as an "Upgrade" rather than a full reinstall. This process refreshes Windows with minimal effect on your files and programs. However, if you used tools like DoNotSpy10 or altered system settings, you might need to restore those changes after the upgrade. Good luck!
