It looks like there are many issues and slowdowns with Windows 10. Since it's been nearly five days since its release, most obvious problems should have been fixed. I'm still using Windows 7 64-bit but plan to switch once Windows 10 is stable and better for gaming.
I haven't encountered any problems while playing games, except for needing to reinstall the video drivers.
It seems there are issues with the game files, some sounds aren't working, and certain components won't install due to permission problems.
I haven’t faced any problems with Win10. In fact, it’s better now—Nvidia drivers are improved. AMD is uncertain. During installation, I encountered two small issues, both caused by my actions. They only happened because I missed updates or didn’t install drivers before updating Windows.
I'd hold off for a bit, the VGA drivers are still developing, certain titles (such as GTA V) need files that aren't available on W10, and there are some widespread issues with W10 that might ruin a gaming experience.
Experienced smooth performance on Windows 10 during games. Performed a fresh installation on the day of release.
