Is your Windows 10 setup fully broken? You’ve been struggling with the installation for a while. After checking many online sources, someone reported the same issue on Microsoft’s forum but didn’t find a solution. Can anyone help resolve this? Since this is your exact situation, please share more details.

You're starting a clean installation on a Gigabyte Z97p-d3 motherboard. Make sure you have the latest BIOS updates and verify compatibility for your I5 4690k CPU, Corsair cx750m PSU, 1TB HDD, 16GB RAM, MSI 1060 GPU.

Are you experiencing issues with the new setup? Or did something go wrong that prompted you to try a fresh installation?

A Linux live image can function properly. Running memtest86 was just a precaution to ensure stability. It seems the system behaves differently from Windows this time.

We're making progress. Can you confirm how the Windows .iso file is being placed on the USB drive? Do you have the chance to switch to a "legacy" BIOS instead of UEFI? Have you experimented with that before? I'm assuming you're running a 64-bit version of Windows. Which edition are you using (home, pro, enterprise, LTSC, etc.) and what specific version number do you have?
