Windows 10 is frozen on the startup screen.
Is this the bios configuration? Unfortunately, you might need to reinstall the operating system. If everything is backed up on a separate drive, things should work fine. Cases like this are why I keep my data on a different storage device. I’ve had too many failures trying to overclock in the past and my bootloader would get damaged, causing Windows to fail to load.
Really frustrating. I hope I have a solution to get Windows running again.
It might be possible, though I’m unsure what to say. If you’re seeing a screen and can access the BIOS without memory issues, the hardware seems okay. It appears the boot loader could be damaged. Even with the IGP running on your CPU, a driver is still needed to connect to the OS, so it must have been removed before installing the discrete GPU.
