Windows 10 is consuming excessively much memory.
PC Specifications: AMD A10-7870k APU paired with one 8GB G.Skill 1600MHz RAM stick. Noted that using a single RAM stick for an APU is suboptimal. AsRock Fatal1ty FM2A88x Killer Motherboard encountered issues after upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, experiencing high memory usage. CPU performance seems normal. Screenshot of RAM utilization shows only four open Chrome tabs. Additional details welcome if needed.
Windows 10 on some computers runs like a Ubisoft game. (HAHA) It probably has a memory leak. Restarting the computer should fix the memory leak, but it may still happen! I would revert back to windows 7.
It might be possible to reverse the upgrade, but a complete reinstall could be necessary.
Suggest refreshing your setup. Updates often aren't ideal. Disable features like "give me tips about windows" and any requests for feedback. Remove unnecessary items or those you're unclear about.
I suggest giving this driver a try. You can find more details here: http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/thread...61.198899/
In control panel there is a button that will allow you to downgrade back to windows 7. (Assuming it hasn't been over a month since you have updated)
