Download and set up this driver here: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverRes...9125/en-us. Since your OS is 64-bit, check if it's 32-bit or 64-bit by pressing Win + Pause/Break or typing "control system" in Run. It will confirm your version.

It's doable. My laptop is getting warmer in Windows 10. I reconfigured the drivers and made some adjustments, but it's still hotter than before yet warmer than in Windows 8.1. I plan to upgrade to a fresh Windows 10 OS soon or next month, hoping the cooling system will work better. The chances are: 1) driver issues 2) internal dirt (maybe cleaning and replacing thermal paste) 3) external heat affecting performance even slightly. Now in Windows 10, the laptop runs hotter and spins the fan more intensely when browsing compared to Windows 8.1.

It's unclear what the issue is. Perhaps clean all your parts. Your room might be getting warmer than expected.

It's been a bit warmer lately, but since I'm from Scotland it stays cool most of the time. The PC is really tidy with plenty of fans. What temperature range should I aim for?
