I’m really enjoying Windows 10. I’m making the most of the virtual desktops and the four-way window setup. My browser, Notepad, Notepad++, and File Explorer are all running on one of my three virtual desktops. Haha, it looks quite modern. I just need to get used to it more since I installed it only an hour ago, but it’s already quite solid.

I don't understand how to use the virtual desktops. Can you ask again?

Welcome to Linux in 2003. It feels like such a distant concept, hard to label as forward-thinking.

However, I can handle all my knowledge on it. And Linux distributions are often unstable with driver problems, but I still want to give it a shot.

Envision what you cherish most and try to enhance it. To truly feel that, you must set up Linux. It’s incredible—so much better than Windows 10, it completely overcame the slowdown issues I faced with my files. That’s just how outstanding Linux is. I’m not sure what you meant by “driver problems.” Are you referring to the challenges Windows encounters, or something else? As for giving it a shot, definitely give it a go! If the interface and terminal don’t intimidate you, you’ll see just how powerful and user-friendly it is, and how simple it is to manage. Many say it’s tough, but it’s not at all!

Establishes a virtual desktop environment allowing several workspaces simultaneously. For example, you can run a web browser on one screen and Word on another.

Windows 10 is a nightmare for overclockers, rarely achieves Heaven extreme scores, and often fails to reach the win 7 master race.

This functionality has existed in Linux for a while, offering a simplified approach from around the year 2000. Most users won't encounter problems, as driver compatibility is generally solid. Nvidia hasn't fully optimized support for Linux on consumer GPUs yet, which can be a challenge. Some components like Intel wireless AC cards require manual configuration via the command line to achieve acceptable speeds. Overall, it's a decent setup since much of the software is open-source, likely meaning community support already exists for smooth operation.
