Hmm, if I wasn't mistaken you can try changing the active hour but there's a limit to the active hour( I think it's 8 hours).

The anniversary update has a few issues, but developers are working on them. If you don’t mind the updates, go ahead and download the older version—it’s more reliable.

I focus on every moment of the day. This means I don’t try to fit myself into someone else’s system. My needs should guide how I live.

Sure, I get it. The update system in Windows 10 can be frustrating for those who don't use their PC all the time.

Absolutely, I see their reasoning. A lot of everyday users tend to postpone updates, which leaves security gaps and can lead to problems down the line. This approach helps keep them safe by ensuring they stay current, but it also affects people like me who manage systems regularly. If there were an option to manually control updates and manage preinstalled software, I’d likely have been more proactive from the start. There are some improvements too—like DX12, quicker boot times, a better command prompt, supporting multiple desktops, and Windows Hello—but these aren’t enough to change the overall picture.

I hope they organize their updates clearly, separating critical security information from other topics. It would be helpful if their system allowed you to toggle between sections so security details don’t need a restart, and you can still choose the "everything else" part manually whenever you’re ready.

Yep. Although I'd still take it a step further and say let me delay any update, I know what I'm getting into. Sometimes whatever I'm in the middle of is more important to me than the potential security risks that come with delaying those updates (really not hard to get a virus, don't know how people manage to do so so easily)
