Windows 10 installation issues, followed by a fresh Windows 11 setup.
The tool will attempt to repair different Windows versions from various Windows editions. For a W10 installation, the W10 MCT might be required, though newer models like W11 could also handle it. You've already used the 'Start-up Repair' option—if you haven't tried other methods or if those assumptions are incorrect, you can skip them. Another option is to remove files from the target drive and perform a fresh installation.
I'm not sure if the Windows version matters here. The problem started when I tried to fix the boot configuration, and now I'm getting an access denied error on the W10 drive. I've tried various command-line methods without success. It seems the original installation was flawed from the start. With the partitions corrupted, it's unclear whether W10 or W11 MCT tools will work. I own AOMEI Partition Assistant but only used it for cloning drives before. While it has other features, I'm not sure if any can resolve this issue. The reason I'm hesitating is that I have two apps that aren't compatible with W11 yet—three years ago they were updated for W10.
