I own a Ryzen 7 1700 CPU with a B350 board. I'm struggling to set up virtual machines. I'm both a computer science student and a tech enthusiast. Virtualization is turned on in the BIOS, and I tried installing Parrot OS using VirtualBox—now Kali Linux isn't working either. The installer keeps crashing with Rcu_sched being starved for time or mentioning Spectre v2 fixes. After several attempts, I end up with a black screen. Parrot OS gives me the same issue after selecting an option. Meanwhile, Kali gives a delay before it quits. I'm hoping someone can help because I want to run a Ubuntu VM for a website or similar project.

It seems you're looking for guidance on accessing Kali Linux. You mentioned trying VirtualBox options or VMWare, but your main goal is to get it from the Store app and run it natively on Windows. Here’s a concise summary:

Thank you for your response. I resolved the problem. If anyone faces an issue, consider setting the paravirtualization interface to 'none' instead of the default.
