I own a Ryzen 7 1700 CPU with a B350 board. I'm struggling to set up virtual machines. I'm both a computer science student and a tech enthusiast. Virtualization is turned on in the BIOS, and I tried installing Parrot OS using VirtualBox—now Kali Linux isn't working either. The installer keeps crashing with Rcu_sched being starved for time or mentioning Spectre v2 fixes. After several attempts, I end up with a black screen. Parrot OS gives me the same issue after selecting an option. Meanwhile, Kali gives a delay before it quits. I'm hoping someone can help because I want to run a Ubuntu VM for a website or similar project.

Thank you for your response. I resolved the problem. If anyone faces an issue, consider setting the paravirtualization interface to 'none' instead of the default.
