Yeah, the CMOS reset didn't help much. (I was counting on it...) Now I actually see a bluescreen when shutting down, even after unplugging my phone. The issue is Driver Power State Failure. I attempted to use the BSOD reporting tool on the forum, but it froze and stayed stuck at building windows reports for more than 24 hours. I'm torn between a clean Windows install or searching for the problematic driver—possibly the Nokia N9 driver, Intel Rapid Storage Technology, or the chipset driver. Another odd thing is that in Task Manager, the "System and compressed memory" process keeps running at around 40-50% CPU usage on my 2500K at 4.6GHz. This hasn't happened before the threshold update.

You only needed to connect your phone during the update. A fresh setup might be better. There are some unusual issues that are tough to diagnose without being on your PC. A new install should fix them. Because it's Windows 10, no activation key is required during installation—it should turn on automatically.
