No one performed a benchmark for the new Windows 10 creators update with gamemode enabled.

Relies on your device settings and the game in question. For Win32 titles; the speed improvement isn't about achieving higher frames per second, it's about maintaining consistent frame rates, which can change if background applications run. With a system costing around 3000$, featuring 12-core processors, this benefit won't matter much. If you have a dual-core or an older/underpowered quad-core setup, this feature can still assist you, particularly when running background tasks. If you frequently close all programs before launching a game, and Windows doesn’t run maintenance checks during the game, that’s essentially the only advantage you’ll gain—no real performance gain. For UWP applications: the speed boost is more noticeable. It lifts UWP games to performance levels similar to Win32 titles. Unfortunately, there aren't any games available on both platforms for direct comparison, but the improvement is present. UWP applications often lag due to multiple layers added by security and development frameworks, which affect performance.

My setup looks identical across both configurations. The hardware details match exactly, with slight variations in GPU models and driver settings.
