As mentioned in the title, I attempted to install Nvidia drivers but kept hitting the 'Installing Nvidia Core' part. When trying to uninstall Office 365, it repeatedly loops at 'Step 3 of 4'. This is quite frustrating. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. My system details are: OS – Windows 10 Home; CPU – i7 7700k; GPU – Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2080 Super; RAM – Corsair LPX 2x8Gb at 2666Mhz; Motherboard – Gigabyte Z270X Ultra Gaming.

Could a fresh installation fix the issue?

It could be a faulty Windows installation. I’d probably just reinstall it, as that’s usually quicker than troubleshooting issues.

It might be due to antivirus or firewall configurations. You can check with Procmon to observe activity. Restoring the system is a common solution, though it’s straightforward. If the issue persists, fixing it is up to the user. Reinstalling Windows is widely accepted as a standard remedy.
