Hi, I’m facing an issue with my lower-end system. Windows crashes randomly every 2 to 20 minutes, showing bizarre CPU frequency readings in Task Manager—like 21130833, 62 GHZ (just an example). When I run CPUID Monitor it displays the real values. It’s unclear if these numbers are connected or unrelated. My system specs are: i5-2500K, 16GB RAM, AMD R9 270X500W PSU, 120GB SSD. I’ve tried changing the PSU, swapping the graphics card, pulling RAM out, testing all sticks individually or in dual-channel, and fresh installing Windows (all temps are normal). I’m not sure how to resolve this and might need to replace the motherboard or CPU unless someone has a solution. Thanks for your help, Calsterman.

It seems the system has taken a different direction. Make sure you're not attempting any performance boosts or BIOS tweaks.

I think age has reached the system now.

It seems the device has completely stopped working. I've rebooted it three times without any improvement; the fourth attempt loads Windows but then immediately shuts itself off. Now I can't even start it. I believe it's permanently failed. Also, the fans are running at full speed when it powers on.
