Previously, it was noted that Microsoft is targeting Local Account breaches. Additionally, not every device supports Windows 11 because of compatibility issues.

there are alternatives, but these fixes never fix the problem. I understand why M$ imposed strict rules—they don’t want to be locked into outdated microcode or meltdown issues from mid-core to early Ryzen chips. it could really harm the Linux community. since MacOS isn’t supported on those systems that meet M$ standards (especially Windows 11), it leaves Linux as the only viable option. that’s why I’m convinced it will shape a strong Linux future.

Never encountered them blocking local accounts. Not claiming they won’t, but honestly, their leniency is unexpected. Perhaps they’ll stop enforcing it once W10 ends? Still, if ESU needs an account, having one for W11 doesn’t worsen the situation. TPM isn’t a big concern and the SSE 4.2 requirement only affects CPUs older than 15.

Linux doesn't support online gaming, so unless you're alone, you might have missed out on the fun—though it used to be different!

I wasn't discussing setting up MacOS on PCs, I was talking about purchasing a Mac. Mac Mini models aren't that costly. That's the point of this post right now. I own the latest model from Intel, the MacBook Pro. It celebrated its 5th anniversary this year. It's beginning to feel a bit sluggish, but not too much. After clearing my student debt, I can afford a fresh Mac.
