I understand that EOL simply means no longer receiving security updates, which should keep things stable as long as I stay cautious. It feels like I already know the system can run Windows 11 smoothly, but I’m still struggling to figure out how to fix things without support.
I understand it should include TPM features but can’t locate the adjustment. When I discovered a newer BIOS for my board, it mentioned Win11 compatibility, which gave me a partial solution. I’m aware AM5 might not be supported after 2027, so I’ll wait until AM6 unless the current setup works perfectly.
It means we’re moving to newer CPU models like Zen6 on AM5. We’ve had AM4 for a while without a major upgrade since 2020, so it’s still functional. Many people avoid calling it "support" because once you pass that point, the device stops working or can’t get updates, which isn’t accurate.
Finally back home to look at my computer. The motherboard is an MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS (MS-7C37). The BIOS version listed in System Info is American Megatrends Inc. A.Z4, dated 11/10/2020. I checked the MSI website and found an updated BIOS version of 7C37vAP, but it doesn’t appear there at all.
