Essentially, Windows 10 won’t upgrade to Anniversary Edition. I’ve tried all possible methods—settings updater, Windows Media Creation Tool, Windows 10 Upgrade Tool, etc.—but it keeps refusing. The error messages are frustrating, and Microsoft support isn’t helping much. Any ideas on how to get the Anniversary edition working?

Have you considered alternatives that don’t require a full system reset?

It's the optimal approach, particularly after upgrading to version 10 rather than a clean install.

Sure, just to clarify, you're referring to issues on your boot drive rather than another storage partition.

Run the scan with SFC/scannow in the admin command prompt.
