Hey everyone, I have currently reinstalled Windows 10 Pro on my personal PC ( HP Pavilion p6-2402ec ) and also installed new SSD in, where i set my system to, and this SSD works fine, BUT. I have another drive in, which was there previously and has data on it , but the main issue is that that drive was system drive and the installment on it is broken somehow. And system can't see that drive , even though BIOS can . Is there any way to fix this issue and save the data?? My intention after getting the drive to work, fingers crossed , is to put the files on Google cloud, store them there, format the drive and put the files back onto it, because the Google account I'll be using is my school account, because it's the only available option ( approx. 500GB of data ), and the account will get deleted after I will finish school.

I want to assume its a problem with the drive's MBR/BCD as you mentioned it had a broken installation on it. You can try fixing it in safe mode. 1. Hold Shift while restarting from the Start Menu (Power > Restart). 2. Once your computer restarts it should show a "Choose an option" screen. 3. Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Command Prompt. 4. Once the command prompt window opens you can type the following commands one after another and wait for them to finish. bootrec /fixmbr bootrec /fixboot bootrec /rebuildbcd Hopefully you should be able to see the disk when you reboot or even be able to choose to boot from the old or new one.

I attempted to install GPU drivers to modify monitor settings, restarted my PC, checked available space, and felt confused about the numerous drives. I wondered why so many were present and suspected a recent restart might have resolved the issue. I thought others might have similar experiences and could help.
