Windows 10 doesn't launch the Start Menu properly.
I've only experienced this issue recently, perhaps around the holidays. But when I press the windows button on the bottom left of the screen or use the Windows key on my keyboard, nothing happens. Cortana still works normally, so I can still search for apps and everything else. I haven't changed any settings or settings that could cause this. My activities have been drawing, browsing the internet, playing games – nothing unusual. This problem has stayed consistent throughout the week.
EDIT: I forgot to note: I'm using Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.
EDIT 2: It's resolved now. I had to open Task Manager, close and restart explorer.exe, then reboot my PC and unplug my TV. Thanks for the assistance!
Start task manager, select End Task, then go to Explorer. Click the file labeled "Run New Task." Type "explorer.exe" into the application run field and press Enter. This should complete the process.
