I installed the Windows 10 insiders 14936 build some time ago, then returned to a standard version. Now I want to go back to that setup. Why? Because in CS:GO I achieved over 500fps (the better your FPS is, the smoother your movements), but now with regular Windows 10 I’m seeing under 300fps sometimes—around 200fps even at low settings and 4:3 scaling. It’s affecting performance on all my games, not just CSGO. I’ve also boosted GTA5, LoL, and other titles. But I can’t locate it anywhere! Here are my specs: Intel Core i5-6600, 3.3GHz, 6MB, SK1151 SkyLake, MSI B150M motherboard, GTX970 GPU, Gskill Ripjaws DDR4-2133MHz, 2x4GB RAM, 1TB SATA III drive, Nox Urano VX 650W power supply.
The insider version is designed to stop piracy, which means it probably won’t allow reuse after the initial purchase.
Do you believe others inside the company will achieve the same FPS? For instance, the 15048 case.
We maintain a dedicated area for Windows 10 Insiders. Your build remains within the Insider program. The latest Anniversary Update is Build 14393. Right now, the newest insider version is Build 15048. You can switch between builds later. After upgrading, remember to enable Game Mode and test its impact.
