Hi, I'm facing a problem with Windows booting. Everything works normally on my PC, but once it's idle after shutdown, it crashes or restarts. The BSOD appears (attached picture). This began after installing Windows on a new SSD (Crucial MX500 250GB). I assumed the old PSU was faulty, so I replaced it with a new one and it didn't cause BSOD for a while. Now it's happening again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Interestingly, that specific BSOD is often linked to GPU driver problems or a misaligned GPU, even though your screenshot suggests filesystem issues. Did you reinstall Windows with SATA drivers that matched your motherboard, or did you stick with the standard Windows drivers?

I brought the standard Windows drivers. I plan to add my motherboard drivers, which might assist. I’ll inspect my GPU and likely reinstall the necessary software. There’s a possibility it relates to power settings—though I’m unsure how to investigate further.

Reviewed the GPU drivers; none were updated yet. Still experiencing restarts and crashes. Planned to install motherboard drivers first, but it looks like my motherboard doesn’t support Windows 10 drivers—only Windows 8.1. Uncertain if installing 8.1 is safe for me.

Resolved the issue of Windows reinstallation, but remain uncertain about the underlying cause.

The name ntfs.sys indicates it's the NTFS driver. There might be an issue with system drivers or corruption. Consider running "sfc /scannow" or "dism /online /cleanup-image /restore-health." Also, verify if the same BIOS interface (AHCI) is being used.

I agree. Thanks for the guidance. I should have remembered the scanow command. I’ll keep it in mind next time.
