Windows 10 crash on USB drive issues.
I'm experiencing issues with Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit when inserting a 64GB USB drive into any USB port—it crashes and restarts. The site says it's compatible, but it doesn't work on my machine. I've tried using another Windows 10 PC, which fixed the problem. My hardware remains unchanged. Need help with your Logitech G15 Keyboard driver too?
Thanks, the driver performed well! Where is the event viewer located? It seems to crash immediately. It appears to delete the file and then restart. This happens with any USB connection, at any moment. Just the USB port. As noted, it functions on other computers too.
It wasn't the PSU, it functioned on Windows 7, and other USB drives also worked. A USB stick can't draw more than 0.5A at 5V (~2.5W), which means the PSU isn't causing the issue.
You can locate the dump file by checking your system logs or using a diagnostic tool. The Memory.dmp file is typically stored in a specific directory, often related to the operating system or application. If you're unsure, consult your computer's documentation or search for "Memory.dmp location" in your OS settings.
Hey there! Can you clarify what you mean by "anyone, please???"?
Hi, yes it says something interesting now!!! The crash was probably cause by the following module: usbfilter.sys 0xFFFFF8004671498E Which makes sense, because it crashes as soon as I insert this USB. But why, and now what do I do? Delete the file? Here's the conclusion posted::::: 4 crash dumps have been found and analyzed.
