Not sure, but I'm checking if it's similar to Siri on iOS.

It's more sophisticated than Siri. Similar to Google Now. I'm not sure about its availability in Canada.

I used it during my time in the USA, and it worked well. Online searches were mainly through Bing and Edge, which helped a lot. It felt a bit unsettling, but overall it was okay.

It doesn't appear in Canada? I was certain it functioned for a brief period when I used it in Norway. Because it's tied to my Microsoft account, and it refuses to accept the same password as my local one, I haven't utilized it since...

Cortana for Canada will launch soon. You can access it once you're an Insider Preview member. Officially it should arrive in about a month. Meanwhile, you can switch your system to the United States and activate Cortana right away.

No availability in Canada. Unknown reasons for this. Similar issues exist with iOS and certain SIRI features, plus other options. Unclear what the Silicon Valley stance is regarding Canada.

Dans la dernière prévision d'insider, Cortana est disponible en anglais au Canada. Le français suivra ensuite.

Cortana takes into account cultural variations across countries. They conduct research and tailor Cortana to suit each region, updating its animations and even completely revising its design for places like China. Microsoft shared a video about this topic previously.
