I attempted to install Windows 10 via the Windows Update and it repeatedly failed. I tried using the Windows Media Creation tool, which is designed for creating bootable USB drives but can also upgrade devices. It downloaded the Windows installation and accepted the terms, but during the install process it reported a failure. I've tried this multiple times—seven attempts in total—and have given up. I also have a genuine Windows 8.1 version pre-installed on my laptop (link provided). Assistance would be very helpful! Thank you ahead of time!

I faced a comparable problem but resolved it by adjusting my location settings to the United States. Including guns and cheeseburgers helped the situation. Best of luck!

I attempted this but it didn't succeed, so I recorded all the error codes from Windows Update (right-click and select View Details). Then I searched online and the first one I found directed me to the Microsoft community forum. Rahul_compfreak suggested a specific method involving registry edits and subkey deletion. After following those steps, I removed the relevant files in the mounted images folder, restarted Windows Update, and it resolved the issue! Thanks for your assistance.

Keep it as is. The update completely crashed my system, so hold off on moving forward until the release enters the pre-alpha phase. Edit: Until I made it restart...
