Windows 10 chrome slow

Recently I set up a new computer and installed a fresh Windows 10 Professional x64 version. However, when I reinstalled Chrome, everything changed. Searching online now takes around 15 seconds per page, and bookmarks load in 5-8 seconds. It’s not a network issue—I’ve tried clearing the cache, flushing the network, removing browsing history, reinstalling Chrome, turning off hardware acceleration and extensions—but nothing helps. This is really frustrating, especially when I need to finish schoolwork or look up information quickly. Even in-game browsing in Steam is slow.

What storage type are you employing: solid-state drive or conventional hard disk?

It occurs with Edge as well or Firefox, but not exclusively with Chrome. Ensure your motherboard chipset drivers are installed, along with SATA controller drivers for the connected HDD/SSD. Verify these in Device Manager if any are missing.

Searching works quickly on Microsoft Edge. The other options are uncertain. I'm using an SSD for the operating system and Google Chrome.

It seems to be tailored for Chrome only. Would you like to sync your profile there? If you haven’t used any Google services or extensions recently, consider a clean install of Chrome.

I attempted that, but the outcomes remained unchanged even when not synced. It’s strange since I had everything installed on my old machine before, and it functioned properly.
