1. Click right-click on the desktop, select View > Show desktop icons, then check it.
2. Lower your screen brightness to 50% and apply the power-saving setting in Power Options. This reflects how battery life is measured in tests.
3. If the GTX 1050 isn't active, open the Nvidia control panel, go to Manage 3D settings, and choose High-Performance as your preferred graphics card.
4. Remove the existing shortcut before reinstalling Itunes; if issues persist, edit the shortcut's properties and manually adjust the icon by accessing the Itunes executable file.
