so i kept getting this weird BSOD right after power outage in my house, now my pc kept crashing after a period of use. before the power outage my pc has never ran into this weird problem. let's dive into it, i really hope someone can help me. the BSOD includes words like this: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (athuwbx.sys) i actually got screen shot of it but too lazy to transfer it, besides that is all it says and i didn't skip any details. i notice the dump file in my minidump folder but i can't upload it here for some administrator reason which i don't understand, it just says that i don't have the right to access that file which i do have the right to so yeah. really appreciate the help if you can, plus if the dump file is needed i'll use a software to read it and screen shot or copy paste it's content here.

It appears the system was affected by a power interruption. Searching for the file reveals a Qualcomm Chipset. Identify the corresponding driver in your settings (likely related to networking) and attempt to reinstall it. If that doesn't work, use the Windows repair utility or perform a full reinstall.

I don't believe I'm connected to anything related to Qualcomm, because I have no Bluetooth or Wi-Fi on my PC—it's just a computer with no internet. However, I recently purchased a USB Wi-Fi adapter and haven't used it much yet. It hasn't caused any issues so far, but I might experience strange BSODs if I don't use it for a while. If I don't encounter any weird crashes within an hour, I'll consider this USB Wi-Fi adapter the cause. Thank you for the advice.

It seems likely, though it might simply require reinstalling the drivers.

Do you ever get a sense when you've helped someone save their life? Thank you, it really works and the blue screen is gone—good day! Also, I won’t mark this as solved just yet; I’ll wait a few days. If there’s no BSOD left, then I’ll consider it resolved.

I just experienced another BSOD after reinserting that Wi-Fi adapter. I'm going to wait until it's unplugged before continuing.

Have you considered updating the drivers for it?
