Earlier this morning I was running nicehash on my computer while mining with a GTX 980 and 1060. Suddenly, all the GPU fans spiked up to 100% even though everything seemed fine. I checked nicehash and saw it stopped mining. I reset it to check if that resolved the issue. The PC turned off without problems, but when I tried to restart it, it froze on a spinning orange screen with only window dots appearing. I decided to let it run while I was in class. After a few hours, it remained stuck on the same loading page. I accessed Windows Recovery and attempted a startup repair, but that didn’t help. I tried booting into safe mode, which also kept showing the loading screen. Even a full PC reset caused an error. Help needed!

The orange display shows dots as it loads, likely because a GPU was used.

You also swapped the boot card, but the issue remains unchanged.

Bad parts on the hard disk are likely my assumption

Identify the manufacturer of your hard drive. Obtain the corresponding download tools from that company to align with your drive. Transfer via a CD or USB. Allow the process to complete and provide updates.

Try creating the bootable USB another way. If Magician isn’t working as advertised, look for alternative tools or guides that match your device’s requirements.

Check if the active graphics card is causing issues. Remove the current one, use the alternative, and test for booting. Then reverse the order and observe the behavior.
