Windows 10 Blue Screen error occurs due to system issues.
Improvements only. Why won’t I let this post get opened? If it happens again, I’ll return here. I’ve made a few changes: 1) Changed memory speed to 1600mhz (was 1333). 2) Removed CPU-Z like they thought. 3) Deleted old Windows files that were filling my temporary storage.
Completed but failed due to the drives E and F which seem virtual. How can I send this to you? Edit: E: DVD RW drive F: BD-ROM drive Here is the info:
First, I notice a new BIOS update available for the motherboard.
I made all the updates and then the blue screen returned again. I think the issue likely comes from cpu-z, even though I removed it earlier. The problem seems to be related to Speccy or CPU-z, but I don’t have them. They mentioned the file cpuz138_x64.sys is in a temporary folder, yet it isn’t there on my system either.
You cleanly install formats your local drive, correct? Just your primary drive or also the secondary HD?
It's about where the operating system will be set up. You usually keep your OS on an SSD for performance and programs on another drive, while the secondary HDD can stay untouched. Settings > Update and Security > Recovery > Reset this PC.
