You've recently assembled your new PC and everything seems to be functioning properly. After installing Windows 10, you experience freezing issues where the system freezes for a few seconds, the mouse becomes unresponsive, and you can't access any applications. Sometimes the problem occurs even before Windows loads completely, displaying a black screen. It appears you're facing intermittent performance problems. You might want to check your hardware connections, restart your PC, or consider running a system diagnostic. If the issue persists, consulting a technician could be helpful.

I faced some problems a few weeks back, they were linked to the CoreTemp monitor. You need to access the repair menu and either reinstall Windows or reset it to a factory version. The latter will delete all programs and app files except data like photos or info on a secondary HDD. It’s really frustrating when you don’t have a backup and that’s your only choice, right? I was quite upset but it was the only option available for me! Good luck!

It keeps freezing after resetting and reinstalling, starting at 64% and then getting stuck at 28%. This pattern suggests a possible issue with the installation process. You might want to pause and see if the problem persists, or consider checking for updates or running a clean install. If it continues, it could indicate a deeper configuration problem.

You noticed the reset issues and tried restarting after a while, but everything worked until you entered all the PC details. Then it happened again, freezing and wiping everything. After some research, you're considering switching from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

Are you relying on a bootable USB for Windows 10 installation? If not, ensure you install all necessary drivers on another USB drive distinct from the one holding the installation file. I’ve attempted recovery methods but they failed; instead, I used the Windows Media Creation Tool to generate a bootable USB and proceed with the reinstall.

I ran a media creation tool on a USB drive. I reinstalled it several times and reset it too, but the issue persisted. The system keeps freezing during login or while loading.
