I'm working with Valley Benchmark 1.0 for my overclocking tests. So far, I've maintained a consistent 1.3GH/z on my core clock and 3GH/z on my memory clock. However, I'm facing an issue when drivers fail during high-overclock attempts. They essentially shut down my GPU until the driver is reset. This results in my GPU operating at 40% of its core clock and 800MH/z for memory. Anyone else have experience with overclocking on Windows 10?

What card are you using for the overclock on a 660 GTX?
You’re applying a lot of pressure if you say you can hit the value settings you mentioned.
In any case, adjust the power plan settings in Windows 10 to high—it should help.
Regarding your motherboard, ASRock is acceptable, but for better stability during overclocking, opt for an Asus or Gigabyte board.
A higher rated PSU with more wattage would also be beneficial; just a joke, 750W should suffice.
It’s likely the issue lies with the motherboard and power delivery—try switching the power plan in Windows 10 to high as well.

Shaun is asking about the card used for overclocking a 660 GTX. He mentions pushing the card hard and suggests adjusting the power plan in Windows 10 to high if needed. He notes that ASRock cards are acceptable but recommends more stable options like Asus or Gigabyte, especially for higher overclocking stability. He also advises upgrading the PSU to a higher wattage, though he jokes 750W should suffice. He mentions considering changing the power plan in Windows 10 for better performance and observes that his GPU power reaches 88% at maximum settings, though the 3DMark test doesn’t register the overclock. He shares screenshots of memory and system benchmarks for reference.

The programs that indicate it as half the real value display the actual speed prior to the double data rate.
