Before creating a bootable USB for Windows in CMD, address the boot issues with Windows itself. The partition size exceeds what the tool can handle, so additional changes were made. During the upgrade, a dedicated partition was included, which caught my attention. If you have four primary partitions, upgrading may fail since only four are allowed. Proceed with caution. The good news is that now it’s much harder to brick Windows.

For users on Windows 7 with an old MBR partition setup, the chances of recovery drop significantly if issues arise during the installation process.

Windows 8 supports MBR, even on nonUEFI systems. Many users still rely on it.

Windows 8 works with MBR just like other operating systems, though most ready-made setups and recent solid-state drives are built with a GPT-style partitioning drive. I think a fresh Windows installation on a UEFI-compatible machine might create a GPT format for the HDD.

there are still many computers that don’t work properly. I owned a machine with four mainboards and tried installing a fifth one, but it gave me an error message and then Windows crashed.
