You're nearing completion of your PC build and still need Windows 10 Pro. You're checking out sites like Kinguin, wondering if they're trustworthy. Anyone have tips on buying it at a fair price without risks? Also, you want advice on transferring a Windows 10 key to a new machine—should you use a flash drive? How do you do that and what size should the drive be?

You don’t have to pay for Pro. It’s available for free through your school or you can buy a genuine version from the MS store. 1) Set up Windows Creation Software 2) I believe you’ll need at least 8GB of memory.

You don’t need Pro because it doesn’t add value for your use case. Many people claim it’s useful, but you might not see the benefit. Paying $120 for W10 seems high unless you’re targeting a specific need.

Place the operating system on a flash drive instead of the key. Enter the key once the installation is complete.

Certainly! Besides the MS Store, you might explore other reputable online retailers for the item.

Reddit suggests Microsoft software swaps are superior to G2A/Kinguin. You might also opt for Windows 10 at no cost, but avoid enabling it.

You're asking about the purpose of something you don't want to turn on, and you're trying to figure out how to access it on your first PC build. You also need help finding a free source and installing it.
