Yes, it's possible to perform a clean installation of Windows 10 without activating it. You can obtain a license separately if needed. Avoid updating to the latest version to prevent issues with the startup screen. Let me know if you need further guidance.

Yes, it's feasible. You can check your nearby electronics shop or Amazon for options.

Consider starting with a complete reset by reformatting Windows 8.1 or 7, then moving forward.

I handled it just like Microsoft did, and it seems they didn’t have any activation codes available for Windows 10 in their department. It’s surprising they wouldn’t have been ready for a platform launch, though the process still went smoothly.

Updating will prompt you to add Windows 10 installation media for a clean setup, which won’t require a password since the system will detect your registered device.

For a fresh start, consider doing a clean install. The default "keep nothing" setting often retains all your data. Just make sure you're comfortable with the process!

You need to select just one option. Press skip if you don’t have an upgrade or if it wasn’t enabled on their servers initially.

I performed a complete reformatting from Windows 7. The product code for 10 has worked well thus far.
