You're not alone in this! It's completely normal to wait for Windows 10 to confirm installation readiness. This process ensures everything is set up correctly before the actual installation begins.

not everyone receives the update right away, but you must ensure all conditions are met, like booking it and reviewing your email.

Zefues had a good point, but the link isn’t fully functional. You can try this alternative: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software.../windows10. Just install the tool and follow the instructions on your computer. The process may take a while depending on your hard drive speed and internet connection, so be patient if it seems slow.

I guess I should have made a note that you can do that even if you have not received your upgrade notification yet, I did that to my laptop this morning, upgraded, and have been using it all day. It's activated and everything seems fine.... besides how long it took me to find the calculator and place it somewhere handy

Sure! Let me clarify—this doesn’t provide a Windows 10 product key. The free key usually comes from a different method, like purchasing directly or using a legitimate download. Upgrading through the system tray isn’t the standard way to obtain it.

I believe I should hold off and wait for Windows 10. It isn't urgent, but I appreciate the link in case I require it!
