Hey, just got my new PC and haven’t configured anything yet. Spent around £1200 on it, and I’m running out of cash. I really want Windows and need to upgrade from 8.1, but can I get Windows 10 upgrades? Also, what memory do I need on a USB drive for Windows? Thanks!

Win 8 occupies approximately 3.35gb. Uncertain about Win 8.1. Better not overcomplicate it, just keep an eye on mods.

Windows requires approximately 4GB of storage on a single drive. Upgrading to Windows 10 might be an option, though it may still lack certain features.

Everyone is being warned about the COC, but users are stepping up to assist. Consider joining the Windows Insider Program—though it seems late now. They assured users they’d get a free version of the final OS, with updates even if it harms their system. If that doesn’t work, just grab a Windows 8.1 ISO and take advantage of the piracy alerts after six months.
