It is a License for a single PC. Student version only has Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. If thats all you need, it should do what you need.

In the optimal scenario, you sign up using an MS/Outlook email and simply turn off the previous PC before installing it on the new one. I’m aware this applies to all five PC licenses.

It’s unlikely you’d lose the Office software permanently if you hadn’t registered. The registration protects your access, but losing the drive could still affect your ability to use it.

It's uncertain at all. You might want to try the phone activation service, I think it's offered in Australia.

I think it’s best to sign up right away. Being from Fiji means there’s no phone activation service nearby. This tiny island country has very few tech shops, and most things come at a higher price.
