The only solutions available seem to be these Windows updates. Other tools like Malwarebytes don’t appear to address this issue.

It's quite logical to take such actions. In 2018, Microsoft removed roughly a million Windows 10 devices, wiping all data and switching back to Windows 7. A smart move would be to avoid blocking Microsoft, as that could give users a reason to switch to a more advanced non-MS platform.

It's good to hear. I'd really appreciate these updates if they didn't undo the settings I've turned off, which bother me and attempt to push you toward their newest unstable release.
