Hey there! I've looked into my situation and checked all the usual fixes, but nothing resolved the problem. It seems my computer freezes unexpectedly in a strange manner—still able to move the mouse and click, but the whole system stops responding and can't open or start programs. This has happened before, so I went back to version 1909, which worked perfectly. Today I upgraded to Windows 20H2 after a fresh install, formatting the drive and setting up Windows. I ran DISM, SFC, CHKDSK, replaced RAM, updated BIOS, swapped the motherboard, changed drivers, but none helped. I also tried an in-place upgrade, which didn’t make a difference. The power supply looks fine. Interestingly, the freezing tends to occur more when the system wakes from sleep rather than a full boot. My specs are: CPU Ryzen 7 2700 MOBILE, X570 AORUS ELITE WIFI, GTX 1070-Ti, 3000MHz RAM, 32GB DDR4, Corsair Vengance C15, and EVGA G3 55W PSU.

Consider reviewing the power configuration options, ensuring "advanced power settings" isn't interfering with essential functions like disabling PCI ports. Also verify the BIOS version for accuracy.
