Microsoft has republished the update. All reported problems concerning data loss have been resolved. Still, always create a backup and ensure all your drivers are completely updated prior to the upgrade (this covers: Audio, printer, keyboard, mouse, chipset, additional SATA controllers, etc.). Verify that your security software is fully updated or remove it (excluding built-in Windows versions).

How exactly? 1809 is needed for DXR, yet it isn't turned on by default, and you don't have to activate it.
