Sorry for the confusing title, but it's hard to put these issues into words. My computer suddenly started behaving strangely one day—active windows would freeze or stop mid-action when I held down the W key while playing games. In Firefox, the suggested options would disappear unexpectedly and the window would flicker like it was coming back online. Device Manager would show blinking items when something was selected. I've tried reinstalling the graphics driver, reducing background tasks, changing input devices, but nothing fixed the problem. Switching to another account didn't help either.
