i own a laptop with 2gb ram and an intel n3700 cpu. the original interface was quite simple, but after wiping the system and reinstalling windows 10, i noticed it frequently runs low on memory when using chrome and other programs. i’m trying to reinstall again and wondering if windows 10 n is a lighter version of windows 10.

I think the updated versions of Windows (especially XP) were tailored to meet EU regulations. They were essentially released without some features such as Windows Media Player.

I believe there are additional distinctions as well, but it wouldn't be a sensible option with such a decision.
