Hey there! I'm back in the PC scene after a long time and just finished my first build in over two decades. Things have definitely changed. My current setup includes an AMD Ryzen 5 2600, an Asus ROG B450f Corsair Vengeance LPX with 16GB RAM, a WD Black 500GB NVMe SSD, an EVGA GeForce RTX 2070, a Corsair 850W PSU, and the XC Ultra. I've checked numerous forums, tried various fixes, but nothing seems to work. Everything boots up and enters BIOS without issues, yet Windows won't install via USB. I've used seven different USB drives, even replaced them all just to be safe. No matter which port I use or which drive I insert, I keep seeing the "media drivers missing" error. I've disassembled and reassembled the whole thing carefully, double-checked connections, and even tested with a single RAM stick while keeping the other one. Still nothing. I'm reaching out for advice and any help you can offer. Thanks!
The USB stick is formatted with a suitable file system, and the Windows ISO is installed onto it.
@WasabiXi did you make sure that you selected the usb in the bios to boot from. This is a very common over looked step.
For fun, try using Rufus to install the ISO and observe the outcome. A screenshot of any errors could be useful.
Thank you for your reply. I've also used Rufus and encountered the same issue.
Apologies for the delay, I've created a new version. Thank you for your patience; I'm hoping the text remains clear.
